March of Dimes charity sketchcards!
I was recently asked to participate in a charity sketch card thing for the March of Dimes, as were many other comic book illustrators. Working on the provided MoD sketch cards was a bit tough as the surface didn't want to take ANY ink, but I worked it out alright, I think. CHECK 'EM OUT!

THE GIANT ROBOT HEAD COMETH
My "studio" of creators just changed our names, as Heroforge didn't seem to fit us anymore, really. So now we're Giant Robot Head! Rock on.

Comics for Cure / Comics2Games have come together to create a relay for life team called Comics for Cure for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life program. All proceeds form the auctions for the Comics for Cure relay for life team will be giving to the Northern Kentucky Kenton County American Cancer Society Relay for Life program.

______BACK FROM MEGACON! And News _____

Well, we're back from Megacon and had a GREAT time! Great seeing so many Deviantart members there! Glad you enjoyed our stuff.

Thanks to all the GI Joe fans that came by and purchased original GI Joe pages, prints, and con sketches! You guys are the best. Thanks for the kind words! You make it all worth it.

We'll get photos up on Flickr soon enough-- and we have lots to share!

We sold tons of prints, original art, sketches, comics, commissions... overall, a wonderful show. Not the all-time best, but pretty nice.
Nice hanging with , , , , , Kevin and Chris as well!

BEST MOMENT OF THE SHOW: Raising over 500 dollars for the Hero Initiative over the weekend! For a no-name like me, that seems really good!

WORST MOMENT OF THE SHOW: Attempting to make sense of that kooky, tourist-infested area of Orlando! I'm telling ya-- it's like they DELIBERATELY made it hard to figure out. Oh yeah-- and not seeing Steve Scott there this year, who was supposed to sit at the table next to me! You were missed, man-- but it was great meeting Kevin!

I miss the fans, crazy cosplayers, and weather already. See ya next year, guys!


______The BIG news... My ANNIVERSARY!_____
In March 2003, I married the most amazing woman on the face of the planet. A scholar, psychologist, model, comic fangirl, puppy-loving, aspiring inker, editor, driven, caring, passionate, freckled... There aren't enough words strong enough to define her.

Last weekend, we returned to Orlando where we honeymooned five years ago and had the time of our lives. I'm sure she'll mention her new plushy Chocobo and Legend of Zelda t-shirt somewhere along the way... but in the end, all that matters is being around her makes me the luckiest man on the planet.

I love ya, Kelly.
